🍲 Spinach soup

Today’s soup is a real treat and definitely one you should try.

Hey Soup Enthusiast,

Today’s soup is a real treat and definitely one you should try.

🍲 Spinach soup

Spinach soup is a really easy, filling and healthy soup you can make. With the main flavor coming from the spinach and the added texture from the spring onions, I highly recommend you to give this one a try.

Spinach soup

Spinach soup is an easy to make the only time consuming element was prepping the leeks.

I really enjoyed this filling soup, it is definitely one I will be making again. A great time to create it would be St Patrick’s day because of its green color.

The spinach had a prominent, slightly bitter flavor and texture was nice. Spring onions added to the texture and overall it was a really tasty soup packed with flavor.

I will be adding it to my all time favorite soups.

You should definitely give it a try yourself.

Now lets take a look at the recipe.

General improvements

You may not see much difference yet but we need to add the ingredients before stirring the pot. If you have any suggestions, I would be delighted to hear them. 👍

Soups to consider

This weeks soup might not be for you. Take a look at some of these suggestions!

🚀 Your turn to stir the pot

Do you preferer crème fraîche or yoghurt on top of your soup?

Last week I asked what is the one ingredient you simply cannot make a soup without?

Water
Salt. It helps set off the other flavours.
Besides your choice of liquid, I think you got to have onions. I haven't seen a savory soup recipe that doesn't have some form of oinon in it.
Acid at the end—lemon juice or a little cider vinegar, typically.

Your soup journey awaits,

Consider adding an umami flavor to make the flavor pop and the soup stand out.
